In a world of constant transitions, at times it is challenging for us to feel settled with change. I believe therapy is an outlet to discuss, explore, and change aspects of our lives that are causing distress. Everyone has the ability to cope with life changes, and therapy allows a supportive, non-judgmental space to talk through feelings.
I provide supportive psychotherapy utilizing a relational, strengths-based approach empowering individuals to build on their inner strengths. I enjoy working with adults, youth, and families to process and adjust with life’s transitions. Working in a respectful and non-judgmental manner, together we decide the process and focus of therapy. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional (ICDVP). I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology – Counseling Specialization from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have over 8 years providing psychotherapy treatment to individuals and families. I am a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) and bi-cultural therapist that understands cultural influences, and can express feelings and thoughts in a language that my clients feel comfortable. I specialize in the areas of trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship/life transitions.
