Regardless of the environment in which we live our daily lives, change is constant. Change can sometimes bring about unsuspecting challenges, particularly when managing care for yourself and others within the family unit. These times can be difficult to navigate alone. Having support and professional guidance to cope with stressors can be beneficial. It is my belief that people from all paths in life can find therapy helpful. In an effort to find balance in an unbalanced world, it is essential to recognize the unique attributes within each individual in order to build upon the strength already possessed.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over eight years of experience. I provide support to children and families by utilizing various treatment methods tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual/family unit. These methods include, but are not limited to: play therapy, solution focused therapy and family therapy. While utilizing a strengths-based perspective, I work together with the individual/family to address concerns in the areas of: depression, anxiety, grief/loss, behavioral and emotional health, and social skill development. Demonstrating respect, acceptance of others and supportive listening is of the utmost importance in my work with clients. I look forward to becoming an integral part of your support system while you work toward achieving your goals.
