My work with clients is a deeply humbling experience, as I’m aware your decision to seek support communicates courage and trust. My goal is to facilitate a space where you can be your authentic self and feel empowered to tackle stressful life events. I believe that every person has their own set of strengths that can be used to assist in the healing process. Whether experiencing symptoms of depression, struggling to manage anxiety or needing support with significant transitions, I will collaborate with you to face these challenges at your own pace.
I use an integrated approach to therapy that includes exploring the impact of attachment disruptions, family dynamics, and cultural variables. My approach may also include building insight into negative thinking patterns and discovering mindful strategies that help you cope with difficult emotions.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I earned my doctoral degree at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. For over 12 years, I have provided individual and family therapy to youth and adults, with a particular specialty in mood disorders and trauma. I look forward to working with you and/or your family.
