In a world of constant transitions, at times it is challenging for us to feel settled with change. I believe therapy is an outlet to discuss, explore, and change aspects of our lives that are causing distress. Everyone has the ability to cope with life changes, and therapy allows a supportive, non-judgmental space to talk through feelings.
I provide supportive psychotherapy utilizing a relational, strengths-based approach empowering individuals to build on their inner strengths. I enjoy working with adults to process and adjust with life’s transitions. Working in a respectful and non-judgmental manner, together we decide the process and focus of therapy.
I am a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) and bi-cultural therapist that embodies cultural influences. I specialize in the areas of anxiety, depression, stress management, domestic violence, relationship/life transitions, Latinx/cultural identity, immigration/acculturation, financial wellness, and am a SYMBIS facilitator.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional (ICDVP). I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology – Counseling Specialization from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have provided psychotherapy since 2006.
